Can Paper Color be counted as printing Color?

By: Kristine Llabres

What can be the right process in choosing the right colors? Well, its quite hard to do since choosing the right process of choosing a color is one of the major problem areas of DTP image output.

Take note that at the outset the client should be questioned on the opportunity of any components of a non CMYK color job just like color copier and CD multimedia ever being used for CYMK pamphlets etc. if there is any sort of likelihood of that happening then all multifaceted drawing objects and bitmap images should be created with this in mind except the client agrees to pay extra amount then.

When settings up the defaults for a page in any DPT program consider that the required page color palette must be included. If this is done right from the start then major problems should be avoided yet repeatedly bureaus have to return jobs or just charge them for luxurious corrections.

These can help you, try it on!
1. CMYK Color, selected by entering % values.
2. CMYK255 Color, selected by entering 0 - 255 values similar to RGB.
3. RGB Color, selected by entering 0- 255 values
4. HSB Color, selected by entering 0 - 360 degrees Hue, % Saturation, % Brightness
5. Grayscale, selected by entering 0 - 255 values
6. Uniform Color, RGB selected by list or name
7. Focoltone Color, proprietary reference system
8. Pantone Spot Color, proprietary reference system
9. Pantone Process Color, proprietary reference system
10. Trumatch Colors, proprietary reference system
The Color System can be nominated either by name or number with a designer anywhere in the world and then applied by a DTP operator elsewhere, matching then the reference with confidence.
The Pantone Spot Color reference system colors are used when the printer will mix the ink to reference specifications. Each spot color will be a extraordinary single color on a press unit as apposed to CMYK that requires four press units trying to reproduce millions of colors.
Remember that process colors can be selected by any of the suitable color systems listed or from a Color Chart. After all, this is an excellent way of selecting CMYK colors because the charts are printed using CMYK. It is up to you now to decide and have your own glow.
